Dye Sublimation Print Looks Washed Out

Hi! I printed on dye sublimation paper (TexPrintDT), but I think the image looks washed out. I was wondering if it’s supposed to look like that and if not, how I could fix it. I did see that we are low on yellow ink in the dye sublimation printer.

Did you print using the Sawgrass Print Manager? If so then you can’t judge the final results on the look of the printed image. You have to press your final item to judge the color. Make sure none of the border is going to touch the mug, because it WILL transfer. I’m specifically talking about the left and right lines.

Thanks! I did use the Sawgrass Print Manager. The border was just to help me with alignment and cutting. Thanks for the reminder! I’ll try out the press and see how it looks.

yes the ink on the paper isn’t at all representative of the ink on a mug/shirt/etc.
the dye changes significantly when exposed to heat
