DMS Plastic sale

Hey y’all. I’d like to announce the sale of the plastics that are in the back. The sale of the plastic is for all the plastic that we have out back by Machine Shop and Plastics. They will be sold by the pound.

The scale can be found on the corner of the table in plastics.

The square kiosk in glassworks or the common room is where you can pay.

The pricing is as follows.

For ease of sales I grouped the plastics to 4 categories:

1 Acrylic/polycarbonate/ABS $2,00 per pound with $2 minimum and $20 Maximum

2. Delryn/Acetal/Nylon/HDPE/nylatron/ESD Delrin $3 per pound with $3 minimum and no maximum

3. Renshape (all grades) and red block/green block $5 per pound with $5 minimum and no maximum

4. Engineering plastics (PEEK, ULTEM, POM, NORYL.PET,TEFLON, UHMW) $10 per pound, $10 minimum and no maximum.

If you are not certain of the plastic, don’t hesitate to ask someone.

Could you post pics of which plastics are being sold and where they are?
I know you described it, but pics would be helpful for those of us who aren’t familiar with industry terms and don’t know where everything is stored/kept or has moved to.

Next to the ceramics sink (near hot glass) is a large amount of plastics. A lot of it is clear polycarbonate and black polycarbonate. A lot of it is delrin/acetal/noryl

We did our best to put like for like Materials.

The acrylic and polycarbonate sheets under and next to the shapeoko, and the kydek sheets next to the plastics tool cabinet are not part of the sale plastics . I will make sure these are clearly marked tomorrow night .
