Hi Everyone!
Planning the DMS Holiday Party for Friday, December 20th this year and need some help!
I am thinking of having a dessert bar, so looking for a few people to volunteer to bring baked goods or desserts of some sort.
Also, I think it would be fun to have a few “Project Stations” where people could make an easy holiday themed project. If anyone has ideas for those and/or is willing to work a shift helping people with their projects please let me know!
I can volunteer for food: a fruit/cheese tray. (Unbaked but good to eat). Also could man a station making bowl cozies, or a Christmas ornament.
Would this party be come and go from noon to 8pm? Or are you thinking a fixed time like 6pm to 9pm
I’ll be honest, just started planning tonight so am open to suggestion.
My thoughts are It’s a Friday, so it will have to be evening, and am thinking a set time so we can build some camaraderie and do a white elephant type art exchange. May need to be a 7-10 since I was only planning a dessert bar so that gives people time to eat before, but open to discussion on full food options. Trying to avoid a “pot luck” by having just a couple people volunteer to bring food so we can be a little more organized about it.
