DIY Fridge (urgent & happy to pay for your help!)

Hi!
I’m trying to build a diy mini-fridge (2 cu-ft, 4 deg C max, 110v) but my peltier modules simply aren’t doing the trick. Here are two approaches I’m thinking of and I need help to put together and test!

  1. Hack my home fridge to somehow connect its internal cold air space to my diy mini-fridge. (tricky and risky)
  2. Install a mini-compressor?
  3. Hack an existing mini-fridge from Amazon (tough to find something that perfectly fits my spatial constraints).

Thank you - if you’re free, please text me asap.

Any reason to build it DIY when you can find new ones under $100?

Peltier’s are “cool” and all but are horribly inefficient but they have some interesting use cases.

Specific spatial constraints make it hard to find the exact off-the-shelf model. Plus, it’s fun to learn!
