When I took my first engineering/software development job, I was given this book. It was required reading in our department. Short version: Nine women cannot have a baby in one month.

That’s a great book. I also tend to hand out to my direct reports both that one and copies of
and no it’s not just for system admins. There’s a lot in there for both it, dbas, project managers, and coders.
