There are still 3 g+ pages titled “dallas makerspace” visible to me at least…do we know who runs the other 2?
The one I post to is the “page”… One is the “location” (which is automated… sort of tied into maps 'n all…). I forget what the deal is with the third one. Lemme go look again…
This one has the purple “M” icon… This is the Official Dallas Makerspace “page”. It’s the one I post on… Unfortunately, it is not tied into our YouTube channel… As a matter of fact, there is no YouTube channel created for this “page” at all. Maybe @AndrewLeCody can open some type of ‘ticket’ with Google to merge our YouTube channel (mentioned below) with this ‘page’? THAT would be most Awesome!
This one has a blue’ish “M” icon… It’s tied into the ‘official’ Dallas Makerspace YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/TheDallasMakerspace)… Otherwise, I’d say delete it. @AndrewLeCody can you check to see if there anyway to merge this with the actual page that we manage, please?
This one has the red “M” icon… it’s tied into the maps and ‘reviews’… It’s the one that pops up when people “check-in”… It seems to be mostly auto-generated… It would be super kewl if it could also be merged into the official page (the first one noted above); but, I’m guessing it’s not likely - since they seem to work different… I do see that the hours really need to be corrected though - because it shows us ‘closed today’ - even though we never close - lol
