Cutting tile with a laser

can the laser cut .25inch tile? I read some materials such as marble and glass, wondering about tile

Nope. Sorry. We have CO2 lasers, which can ablate glass and stone but not cut it.

Laser won’t work but a diamond glass and ceramic tile-cutting bandsaw definitely would cut 0.25" tile. You would probably need to check with Glass Work if tile cutting is allowed.

For example, they have one of these: Diamond Elite Bandsaw - DiamondSaws.

Triumph workshop has a waterjet - you may want to go that route.

I’m not sure about the status of the laser we had in Glassworks. It would let us carve a deeper groove in glass to make it easier to cut odd shapes. OTOH, the glass sheets we work with are .125".
