Cutting ABS plastic?

What is the most appropriate tool at DMS to cut ABS plastic? I have a 12"x12"x1/8" sheet that I want to rip into 3 12"x4" pieces. It’s a pretty straightforward task for my project, I just want to make sure I’m using the right tool. Any help?

it may be possible to deeply scribe the sheet and then have it snap along the scribed line (much like lexan or glass). Otherwise I say the table saw.

Thank you. I think 1/8" might be a little too thick for scribing and snapping, no?

possibly. I’m not sure the thickness of lexan I’ve done that with. You can try it and see else use the table saw.

Use a saw. At one point woodshop had blades for plastic. You’d lose some material so the pieces wouldn’t actually be 4" wide.

Not at all. I scribe and snap 1/4" plexiglass and glass all the time at work.
