Creative Arts Meeting Request

As mentioned in my message regarding the new wide format printer, I would like to call a committee meeting for the Creative Arts committee.

I would like to discuss the following agenda items:

  1. Update and Confirm the Creative Arts committee roster
  2. Determine a new configuration/location for our existing and new printers/scanners
  3. Determine expanded operational and support protocols for the printers

I know it’s short notice but if we can hold this meeting Tuesday evening around 8:30 that would be awesome. If not, then some time in the coming week would be great and I welcome suggestions.

Thanks!

I’m still learning the ropes, but it’s my understanding that A/V falls under Creative Arts, so I’d like to join in and discuss Digital Media…and how this might interface with the current focus. I’ve jumped in feet first (with eyes closed) and tried to start filming DMS to help boost interest, and want to generate some focus in video, photography, audio and the likes. …yep, Digital Media. Does this fall under Creative Arts?

I can do Tuesday! Let’s make it happen

Is this where interested members should show or is it for the existing “team” of creative arts peeps?

I would offer that if you’re interested in serving on the committee to help
shape the Creative Arts department then come on down. Keep in mind the
agenda (so far as I’m concerned) is mostly going to be specific to the wide
format printers.

I’m teaching a wide format printer training class at 7:00 on Tuesday so the
meeting will be right after.

I’d like to add a few things to the agenda.

  • Could we add a process for adding software to the creative arts computers.
  • What is creative art’s current view of the vinyl cutter?
  • Possible purchase of Embroidery supplies?

I’ll be around the space on Tuesday, if I’m side tracked please tackle me so I don’t miss this meeting.

Gotcha. Count me in boss - I wanna help. See you Tuesday.

(New guy here) I would like to join in, but won’t make it Tuesday. Another time maybe! I did have questions about the vinyl cutter. I’d love to get access to it and go to town; I used to work one of those things in a sign shop for about a year, so I’m eager to toy with one of them again. Is there any way to schedule training, or someone I can talk to about using it?

I would think it falls under Creative Arts (as it’s on the group’s description), but we also have a Photography group under “Off-topic.” We used to have a Photography Committee, but it was disbanded, due to lack of participation.

I didn’t see your post before you withdrew it, Timbo, but I would like to point out that tonight is the A/V meeting at DMS.

The Vinyl Cutter isn’t part of creative arts, it is a stand alone tool that supports itself.
