Topics for discussion include:

  • Software needs for vinyl cutters - @dougemes has confirmed that an upgraded version of the software we currently use will run both of our cutters, and has also confirmed that the new cutter (that many have mistaken for a wide format printer) operates well.

  • What to do with the pile of MDF that had originally been purchased for “above the cabinets” shelving.

Tagging Vice Chair @Edenblue and SIG Leaders @dryad2b @Starreyedgirl @jnorine @CaryF300 @Hardsuit for agenda additions if needed and SIG reports as appropriate.

What Programs Qualify?
Any existing graphics or sign making program like Artcut, Co-Cut, Flexisign, Lxi, Signlab, WinPC etc. etc. or a graphics program like Illustrator or CorelDraw - it may even be a free program like Inkscape or Gimp - these are all fine.

Two things for tonight:

  1. Are we still on considering the electrical work being done?

  2. I was planning on arriving early enough to use the cart to set up the streaming gear for the meeting. Is this ok/desired?

Yes we are still on. Work began (allegedly) at 9 am and James indicated he thought it would be complete before our meeting time. If it is not, we’ll meet in the lobby classroom. Nothing scheduled there that I can see.

I’ve been using a combination of a conference call speaker doodad and my iPad on a stand. But if you wanna do the other, more power to you.
