Cooking Classes

Are there any good cooking classes around Plano. Asian (Pho/Thai/wok/Chinese) and Mexican cuisine preferred but more of an art of cooking.

While not in Plano, might be worth the drive…Kalachandji’s does vegetarian Indian cooking classes. They’re paused for holidays but theres an email link if you want to be on the list when they start up again. They weren’t expensive when we looked at them awhile back.

They have a nice restaurant attached to the temple and basically a suggested donation amount for the meal. Very tasty.

HIGHLY recommend eating out in the garden if you go. Like a hidden oasis. The temple tour is also interesting.

On a different note, Sur le Table does cooking classes, and there’s one in Plano

Paula Lambert at the Mozzarella Company has a great cheese making class. And she is very charming to boot. I came home with about 4 lbs of cheese.

Big second on Kalachandji’s! I’m not a vegetarian but have always had wonderful meals there. Did not know they had cooking classes. Up for going with anyone else to take a class.
