My former boss (now with a new company) is in need of someone to assist them with some electronics and PCB design. Someone who can also help them navigate component sourcing and assembly services would be helpful too.
This is a contract position and I don’t know whether they are looking for full-time help or piecemeal work.
I don’t know much about the specific device they want to design but he did share that it will involve a microcontroller, ADC, and either CAN bus, RS-485 or both. I’m assuming it’s a sensor of some sort but don’t really know. His company is involved in cashierless checkout technology and I can’t even talk to him about it as my company is working in the same space.
