How much would you charge to route the materials needed to build one of these?
It’s an interesting project. I looked at the dxf file they have and it includes every cut in one file, so there would be a little work involved in getting all those in separate files or at least different layers.
In addition, the pdf documentation isn’t as clear as it could be. They say you need 13 sheets of plywood 2440mm x 1220mm x 18mm, and then 4 sheets 2440mm x 1220mm x 4mm. I skimmed through the pdf and couldn’t figure out when the 4 sheets come into play (I only see use for 1). Even with the 13 sheets, there are only 12 in the dxf file, so I wonder if something is missing.
With all this in mind, anyone who operates the machine for you will have to do some extra design work and possibly have to email with the creators to make sure nothing is missing. I have to take care of some life things and see where my own projects are at, but if I get to a stable place, I would love to try making this for you. I’m guessing it’s something you don’t need right away, more of a hobby project?
