Logistics has this covered. I like the idea of the floor cleaner you suggested. Thank you
I would be very concerned about using something this aggressive on the painted floors. The paint may come up with this level of āscrubbingā.
Iād rather find out now that the paint isnāt properly bonded to the floor via the scrubber, rather than 3 months from now after everything is moved into place and it starts chipping up. (Kinda like the old painted finish on the floor in Interactiveā¦)
It withstood ten years of normal foot and cart traffic from the prior tenant with no problems. Iām concerned that the scrubber could accelerate its failure with out-of-the-norm abrasion.
Lol, Iāve used these, I wouldnāt call them next level scrubbing. The biggest thing the machine does is water handling which is the toughest part of cleaning large area. It keeps you using fresh water rather than just spreading dirty water across the floor.
But, as @Kriskat30 has made it clear, Iām not to help with this. Iāll just leave it here. Good luck with the floors. I would hope that the person tasked with cleaning a warehouse has the proper tool for the job or a lot effort to do it right.
Itās immaterial at this point, the biggest risk isnāt the paint or the dirty water. Itās the schedule. The floors need to be clean so the tape sticks. We canāt wait and hope a volunteer to get it done.
We have arranged through logistics to get a professional cleaning done on Monday.
We will tape on Tuesday and start moving committees immediately after.
Team expansion will gladly take any and all volunteers. We have plenty of work for everyone.
Thatās good news. There isnāt any tape going onto painted floors. The rest of the floors will be safe for industrial-strength scrubbing. We can mop the painted floors if we need to.
What time are things kicking off on Saturday?
Iāll be in around 9 with donuts.
What time are things kicking off on Sunday?
Iāll be in around noon. There will probably be other people there earlier though.
Iāve been told they are in storage, but I donāt know for sure. @StanSimmons may know.
We arenāt ready to set them up yet. We are working on getting a company to come in and put a non-skid epoxy finish on parts of the floor. We should know more about the timing on that shortly.
The cross members and racks are in storage, I think unit 0020.
Please do not assemble any racks, or move anything not on a pallet or wheels into the 102 warehouse. @Know is trying to work a deal with a local company to get the back area refinished, and everything back there must be mobile.
