Uh-oh. Looks like the wires on that rack were probably a. too thin and/or b. nichrome. Nichrome really only works for low-fire (cone temps that start with 0). They just don’t hold up well to Cone 6. You might want to buy kanthal wire. It doesn’t usually get so limp at Cone 6.
