Activity in these areas is rapidly increasing as we move past Covid. Following are some of the activities that come to mind.
- Rich Osman has begun a series of Electronics Office Hours.
- Bobby Counts has begun a series of KiCAD Office Hours.
- Kia Khadem has begun a series of Python programming classes.
- Kevin Thompson is offering classes on the C programming language.
- David Steele has a robot building class on the calendar. Hopefully this will be the first of many.
- Kirk Keeter is running a series of classes on Ruby on Rails.
- I offer occasional classes on Arduino-ish and RPi Pico W topics.
- Dallas Personal Robotics Group’s Roborama is scheduled here in May.
- North Texas Retrocomputing Meetups happen here occasionally.
- AmigaMCCC Users Group meets here.
While it’s great to have the classes on the calendar, there is always room for more. DMS is a great place to spread your knowledge to others. Seems like we need some Raspberry Pi classes.
