I thought some folks here might enjoy this. Regrettably, they’re only coming as far North as 121 (not quite, even) and I’m going to be

  1. further north than that
  2. Inside, in a conference. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

and likely won’t get to see a darned thing.
Their flightplan is on their facebook:

and Addison has a nice flyer online for it:

I would LOVE If you get to see it, share pics!
Have a great day, whatever it might bring you.

I couldn’t find the list myself, so I’ll share here now that someone else found it for me…

I sure wish I could see this. I’m at UTA today, so I’m going to miss it.

I dunno… If you’re on top of a 12 story building again…
Ah well. We can’t win them all… Hopefully someone else will let us live vicariously.

First pass-I suspect enroute to first location

I heard them go over, but couldn’t see a thing. Sounded good!

We ended up in a good spot. The pix above were to the south when they were going from Addison airport to the first loop in Carrollton. Then they passed again enroute to Addison/Beltline Rd from Presbyterian-Plano. Then they came north to Baylor-plano. They were basically in two groups. Older planes flying in formation with a big wwII bomber, and four fighter planes flying in a formation trailed by a big 1960’s type jet with the flat triangular wings.
Photos coming in a bit.

Probably that B25H. 28 cylinders and 3400HP makes such pleasant noise!

That’s the “Starship”, I think…

The older planes flew directly over the hospital - then went east towards US75.

The missile-plane was kinda doing it’s own thing. Mostly trailing the fighters, but made a solo loop around the hospital. I added an enlargement of the plane to the photo.

This about as close as the fighters got to the hospital.

Was wondering why they were up. Felt them fly over after takeoff and saw the formation and then the starship. Was really cool, but shook my apartment!

Still need to make my way over at some point to the museum.

I just finished reading Target Tokyo about Doolittle and 78 others taking 16 B-25s off the Hornet aircraft carrier to bomb Tokyo without fighter escort. It was great seeing and hearing the B-25 and its fighters at Baylor Plano this morning.

In the 80s I worked in a building in the Quorum with a view of Addison airport. We would go for weeks without paying attention to aircraft sounds but when the WWII aircraft approached, several of us would race to the windows.
