Has anyone here installed a catalytic converter shield/guard? How hard is it? Im somewhat of a car novice, but videos make it look like it’s not that difficult.

I did a trade in today actually to a Honda Ridgeline. I should probably check the Cat thefts on it first, but I do remember reading that trucks get hit more often.

Not sure if the Ridgeline is high on the list or not but the ease with which they can get under trucks makes them appealing targets depending on the position of the cat(s). No-Lo makes a skid plate kit for the Passport/Ridgeline that could be a starting point for you to come up with an idea to fab something. At the end of day, tho, a diamond blade cordless angle grinder and sawzall will get thru just about whatever. You just want to make someone pick a softer target. Good luck!
