Carbon Nanotube Fun Fact for the Day

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) absorb and fluoresce in the IR region of the EM spectrum to which the human body is transparent. Because of this and other unique properties, CNTs are being heavily investigated for medical imaging, biochemical sensors, and targeted drug delivery applications.
