Do we have a way to make stickers? Like paper one with a sticky back?
Canāt you just use Avery labels and a color inkjet?
Yes!.. there is a Xyron in the CA room on the shelves kinda in the inside corner. It enables you to apply a double stick adhesive smoothly to paper. There are rolls of the tape stuff there, too.
I need to look at that. I have friend wanting stickers for her blog and she is willing to trade heritage pork or homemade jam for them!
For those of us with limited knowledge, would you be able to post a link for a tutorial? Sounds simple enough to not require an entire class, but itās still āGreekā for a total novice (me).
if you want to print reeeeealy big stickers - you can get a self stick material - polyester ( and removable ) that will work in most wide format printersā¦
I have the 44" wide version that is fantastic for indoor self stick giant (or a lotta small) prints - even custom murals or wall paper, and it will NOT remove paint if removed within 30 days (great for promotions etc).
OP was asking about turning paper into a sticker. Xyron is an easy fix for that if its a patterned scrapbooking type paper or something already printed. If you want to print onto sticker paper, Avery makes letter sized sticker/label sheets and shapes you can print on with an ink jet printer. For really big stuff, there is printable vinyl, that can be used on the big vinyl cutter, but itās typically not recommended for outdoor applications.
IF we can hack or buy the software for the Cameo, we can also cut window cling and there are special print/cut functions for making printed paper stickers and vinyl decals.
There are printable window cling materials, but they require solvent inks and I donāt believe we have that printing capability.
At some time I would like to print labels with my logo on them for jewelry boxes.
Would someone happen to know the model number of the Xyron? I would like to read up on it before I head to the space and attempt some stickers!
ty!
I just spoke to a gal that sell the roll set of the āPro Finishā laminator
