I’m not usually a bumper sticker kind of guy but I think it would be cool to have a "Follow me to the “Dallas Makerspace” bumper sticker. Any thoughts on the subject? Have we made any bumper stickers before?
We have done stickers / decals in the past. They where vinyl cut.
I like the follow me to the makerspace line. If you need a size to design for the standards are 10x3 or 12x4 normally. If you want to get them produced I can get you a quote for production. My best price minimum is at 50 stickers.
If you don’t end up going the bulk purchase route, I have had good luck getting small quantities of bumper stickers and similar things made from Cafe Press
I am in need of a decent bumper sticker—when you have a white Town and Country minivan, and you do art shows, there are often multiple sisters of my van at the show,
I’m really happy with some custom bumper stickers I ordered from Vistaprint and stuck on our cars. The adhesive and printing has held up well, and Vistaprint throws around 50% coupons like confetti.
I love to have bumper stickers that make folks think a bit. I even managed to have a writer for the Dallas Morning News comment on them, in the paper!. He found it interesting that my stickers where sewing and reading ones.
The “Luna City or Bust!” and “The Stars Are Ours!” stickers I sell for $2.50 each, when I’m not busy adhering them to my various belongings, were made for me by a gentleman in Houston. Unfortunately he’s not in the best of health right now, so I don’t know what his turnaround time would be.
Making people think with a play on words on a bumper sticker is a good thing (most of the time).
My 1974 VW Thing has one one the back that says:
“The weather is here, wish you were beautiful”
I will put stickers on the list for things we will make for the space. I want to try and push the new logo and style to all of our marketing and relation needs.
That reminds me, we need business cards and a brochure. Trifolds work well.
