Build/class idea - free food pantry/little free library

I would love to have one or both in my yard - because I’m a dirty hippie at heart.

Little, mostly simple, highly customizable boxes for book trades or canned goods for people in need. Might be a fun and popular intro build class for members looking for a project. I bet you could have a small market selling them as well. Just an idea to put out for people to poke at.

There is a book one near the library in farmers branch on rawhide trail if anyone wants to check it out or donate a book or two

It is great to see these becoming more and more common. There is even on inside the MetroCrest food pantry.

I have wanted one for the Space for a long time. I just have not settled on a design I like.

Something a friend that buy romance novels does is after her and her friends have
read them she will release them to the wild in various waiting rooms, coctor s offices, hospitals
car repair shops Read take and return to the wild

My sister used to register books at https://www.bookcrossing.com/ before setting them free to track where they go.

Believe the one by the library is metal with a glass/acrylic front and wood shelf into a post with concrete. I assume it being farmers branch as half of what’s near the space you need permits out the ass to out them in places but I’ll help anyway I can. Basically the only thing I can do a passing job on is turning wooden tops which doesn’t apply to this lol

Hmmm… a Top shaped Free Library… Great project @Nate!
