Are these the sticks?
I have fought this as long as I could. But I see no way I can safely braze This. I think it is time to ask for help. If I buy the materials Iâm wondering if someone could set up an appointment with with me at the space to get this done. Both both the soldering iron tip and the capillary tube can be silver soldered. I have verified this. What I want to do is braze this capillary tube on top of the soldering iron tip as shown, the bend is the bottom of the tip.
Another friend suggested I use JB Weld, after I get the braze job done I may try the JB Weld with a cup of water next to it the first time I Heat it up just in case.
I would love to help, however my plate is currently overflowing onto the tablecloth beneath it.
âExtreme Heatâ claims to be good at 1000F continuous.
(although somewhat confusingly the listing in Google search returns preview shows 2400F�))
