Is there a metal brake located somewhere in the space that is capable of bending 1/8" aluminum plate?
I have 4 pieces of aluminum that are about 14" wide that I need to do a 90degree bend on.
You’ll have to check the width, but we have a finger break in the metal shop we use with the hydraulic press in the automotive area. It got a little winded bending half inch steel, but it should bend 1/8" aluminum like it’s nothing.
Be careful with the press though, there’s no pressure gauge so be very careful you don’t hoon on it because it’s not “safe” against over pressuring.
Aluminum tends to be fairly brittle(much) - don’t be surprised if it cracks at the crease.
