Borrowing the FLIR?

Would it be possible to borrow the FLIR for a few hours to look at heat loss around my house?

As stated in another thread - DMS policy is not to loan out test gear.

I presumed that was the case but hoped there would be a lonar policy similar to photography. Thanks!

Maybe we should reconsider this if two, three or more known, established members assume responsibility jointly.

I know this isn’t what you’re asking, but Home Depot will rent you one for $56 from select locations.

I know, I saw that, I just dislike renting equipment which frequently sits unused at the makerspace or in our garages.

The equipment sitting at DMS is not a good reason to loan out equipment. At one time we did not have a rule against it. But as we learned from members many are not capable of treating our equipment well.

I have an Ulephone Armor 9 with built in FLIR and endoscope that I’m willing to loan for free for a limited time.
