Part way through a cut this morning the laser head came loose and made contact with the 1/4” MDF I was cutting. I immediately stopped the job, and I have tightened it back so it isn’t sitting on the surface, but it is creating offset ghost images of cuts now so something is out of whack.
@AndrewG…Thanks for posting this! Please look into getting your green dot, though. It’s how we tell members from non-members on Talk and it opens up some members-only Talk categories. One such category is Issues & Requests which is where things like this should be reported so they get priority attention from the cmte folks who can initiate resolution.
I’ve been a member for about a year and just put in for my green dot the other day. (my bad!). Thanks for the pointer on where to post for issues!
