The Artist Blacksmithing Association of North America (ABANA) developed a series of lessons in Controlled hand forging. This is a great resource for learning the various techniques of the blacksmith.
They have now released these lessons in a free 112 page PDF document which combines the lessons they’ve released over the years, with a consist page numbering scheme and a link to the ABANA Hammers Blow magazine issues (which are also available for download).
Well worth snagging a copy for anyone wanting to learn more about sound blacksmithing technique.
