Black Death. Printer is pooooop! The HP not the Epson

What are the seven stages of grief?

Money no fun when boom happens.

This was with the new cartridge?!?!

Yes…yes it was. I watched an instructional video about how to install it and I did it correctly but as it was printing it go boom.
I’ve already bagged it up in the provided “send back if this doesn’t work with evidence of what it did” and tomorrow I’ll send it off to HP in hopes for a refund or replacement part. No assurances to either.

I suppose I need to call start thinking about the big repair bill.

DAMN!

At this point I would seriously consider letting the machine go. It’s an
expensive piece of gear but we do have a history of getting them donated to
us. It may be healer to go that route.

:disappointed_relieved: It is a sad day for this news. I may be able to help though. I have the smaller brother of our printer at my house. I could bring it up and put it on loan possibly?

I believe this will quickly become a money suck. Huge money suck.

I’m afraid of that as we will never balance out the cost of repair to the cost of usage. I will get some opinions but I personally would be ok if this flew the nest.

That’s so thoughtful thank you - Let’s decide if this one gets the axe first (my vote is yes)

This looks like a bad print head… Wasn’t a new one recently installed?

yes it was. I installed it yesterday.
