Bending Mild Steel Tubing question

What is the largest diameter of steel tubing that can be bent on the tube bender or press break? 11ga or slightly thinner wall.

2” is the largest Die we have. It should do pretty thick tubing.

Press brake is not meant for tubing at all.

Thank for the knowledge sharing.

The wiki site says " Press Brake and Tubing Bender Dies" there is even a picture.

Was really hoping to bend a piece of 3"

I’m 90% sure we have nothing larger than 2", which we should have for the bender and the roller.

Would you be willing to post a link to where you found this verbiage on the wiki so we can address that? My searches are failing to turn that up…

ah, that photo was more just one of many documenting inventory at the time. In particular both those sets of equipment tend to be locked up in the cabinet mentioned with it (for when people can’t find them :P)

Our dies only go up to 2", and the machine can’t take a 3" die at all due to the size of the die mount.
