Beginner Projects

Would anyone be interested in teaching a beginners woodshop class that goes over an entire project? I am not sure what projects would be beginner friendly but I would love to be able to work on a any guided project from start to finish.

There is a great cutting board class offered. Or are you wanting a simple one night project?

I have seen that! I am waiting for the beginner version to be posted again and hopefully I’ll have the money to attend that as well. A one/two night project would be great if possible.

I do a $145 shaker panel door class(beginner friendly). It is held on either a long weekend day or two sessions during the week. It is part of a series where members learn to make professional and very nice cabinets. Soft close hinges and soft close under mount drawer slides.

I will keep an eye out for the next time this is posted. Thank you!

I could teach you how to make these watches . And let you pick out what kind of lumber you like on each piece
Only tools you be using is the drill press, bandsaw, dis sander , lathe and spindle sander.
And how to sanding for finishing. And a couple of choices of type of finish.
Probably do it in one night from avg 4 to 5 hours.
I’m available day or night , Not at 3 o’clock in the morning ha ha ha.
So you’ll be taking a watch home when you’re done that’s include lumber and watch face
About $65 ,because this is all exotic lumber
I have zebra, walnut, mahogany, oak, purple heart and Padouk
Just sent a message and set up a time if you’d like to do this or we can do it another day

This is very cool! I think I will keep an eye out for the shaker panel door class or cutting board class instead since I may be able to apply those skills to learning to build small furniture. I really appreciate your offer and if you ever post this as a class I may still be inclined to join for the fun of it!
