Just discovered a unique Blacksmithing website, RAWTOOLS.
The name of the website, RAWTOOLS, comes from the the word “War” spelled backwards. The group has a vision of turning violence on its head and transforming guns into jewelry and garden tools. They take guns that are surrendered and decomission them by chopping them up. The excellent grade of raw material is then used to make other useful items. Their dream is to have Safe Surrender sites throughout the country with Blacksmiths available to property disposed of the donated guns.
This group reflects the Biblical verse in Isaiah 2:4 “He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; …”
