Correct, the concept is to change from a 10’ wide walkway with angles that will be hard to layout to an 8’ walkway that is straight, this adds over 160 sq ft of committee floorspace (mainly for machine shop), 10’ wide is excessive for a walkway
The other big change in this concept is that logistics doesn’t put pallet racks around both sides (gives auto ~300 sq ft by going from 44x43 to 40x50), by putting less pallet racking in the middle of the floor and having some instead be against the wall and having the egress path in front of the racks you increase useable space and prevent breaking up the large open space, making work tables at the corner of auto much more useable. I find its much better to put large shelving against a wall when possible. The bollards and tables solve the issue of containing vehicles inside auto for the safety of others in the space. Work area 3 could support the pallet racks for more project storage in that area.
