We were talking about canvases. JoAnne’s has the 10-pack of canvases for $10 through this Saturday, 8/14/21. I went ahead and picked up 1 pack of 10x10 canvases, which I will put in the Teachers’ Cabinet. If you want me to pick any up, let me know quickly. Alternatively, you can pick up a pack. You can then either ask DMS for reimbursement, or charge your students. I mean, either way the students should pay for the canvas. It’s just whether you want to keep them, and wait for a class to get your money back, or if you want DMS to keep them and you get paid back sooner.
Also, I was in the big Dollar Tree up in Lewisville, and they’ve got small canvases for $1. I don’t think that they’re quite as good as the JoAnne’s canvases, but they’re certainly an option for the classes. I think of that shopping center as “Craft Central”. It’s got JoAnne’s, Hobby Lobby, and Michael’s. Art Glass City is across the street. And that Dollar Tree is big enough that they’ve got a good selection of the new craft items they started carrying this spring.
