AMD still has the best value CPU’s for computers, and their Radeon cards are still cheaper than Nvidia (arguably not as advanced). I switched to an Intel/Nvidia combo for for better performance.

AMD makes great chips for most use cases. Unfortunately, the money is in the unusual use cases, like gaming. That may change with Zen, but that isn’t until next year.
Radeon should get a significant boost by mocing to high-bandwidth memory first. But that has just happened. The jury is still out on that.
