The formula was for 3 gallons:
3 gallons filtered water
3 pounds Cane Sugar
2/3 rds bottle of Zatarains Root Beer Extract (full bottles makes 5 Gal)
1/2 cup Molasses
3 tbs real Vanilla Extract
15-20 drops of Wintergreen Oil
Keg and force carbonate a minimum of 3 days @ 30 psi. Reduce pressure to 3-5 psi to serve.
