Does anyone have a CNC hotwire cutter? Looking to make some RC Plane wing profiles.

My late neighbor had a big one (4’ X 4’ X 8’) but he still cut ribs for the inner and outer ends as guides for a hot wire. It was only 2 axis at a time (stretched wire doesn’t do 3 axis well.)
He got away from foam and was doing carbon fiber layups the last few years. We CNC’d molds which he’d fill and polish. He’d lay the wing panel, bag, vac and bake them.

The last time folks were building RC planes here, they were cutting the wings on the laser.

He is talking about shaping the airfoil. I wish the lasers could easily do that…
