I’m hoping to build a 40x30 shop building on a lot in north Denton late this year. There are trees that will need to come down. :slight_smile:

I definitely see the potential for reclaiming the timber that is going to landfills during this massive re-urbanization going on in East Dallas. I have been doing some urban lumberjacking (Sthil 460 and Granberg Chain Saw Mill) the last few years and really get satisfaction taking timber from tree to table.

I have a day job so it’s still hobby level stuff but have a pretty good stock of material built up now and the early stuff is down to 10% moisture.

I have more wood than I know what to do with, mostly in live edge slabs and would really like to see it made into something.
