Advanced CNC Router class update

Still plenty of spaces available for the Advanced CNC router class. This class provides an advanced look into using the router, as well ass authorizing you to cut plastics, use the diamond drag bits, and bring your own personal bits.

I’d like to attend but the calendar is telling me registration is closed.

Checking into it now… If worse comes to worse, just show up.

NO HONORARIUM FOR YOU!

Never personally collected one, probably never will.

No honorarium for you means none for woodshop. Current rules require 3+ people signed into the calendar for the class. You can get them to sign up at the beginning of class (up to 20 minutes after start) if you can get Alex/Brooks to fix the problem with the calendar entry.

Regretfully, I have cancelled this event, and will re-schedule immediately following the Thanksgiving holiday. Sorry about that folks!

I’m taking the Basics Class tonight. Is there an intermediate class that helps getting hands-on prior to test out before the Advanced Class? I could be wrong, but I’m thinking the Basics class does not have much hands-on training. I’m thinking I’ll need some hands-on supervision prior to test out. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

@Tapper taught a GREAT hands-on CNC pre-test class! It was a good confidence-builder and opportunity. :horns2:

I’m pretty sure I can handle the VCarve with a little practice, but it’s the hands-on aspect of working with the machine in order to be safe and operate it correctly to be effective.

That’s exactly what @Tapper’s class addressed…physically setting up and running the machine. All hands-on…it was greatness!
