I’m going to add my son and was curious if we will be billed together or a separate monthly charge. If separate, Is it possibly to combine the charge?
Probably not. As far as I can tell, it only bills together when the two purchases are made at the same time on the same order. Otherwise, it creates 2 invoices. I am NOT saying this can’t be corrected/manually combined, but I AM saying I don’t know how to do that.

One trick that I’ve used in the past is that you can pay both invoices at the same time later. So you can add the add-on user within a day ± your regular user, and then next month pay them both a day early or a day late with some effort… I imagine there needs to be an easier way to do this though

I’d try to create the add-on on the same day. You’ll get 2 payments, but they’ll be at the same time. Otherwise – no. Our billing system is designed for minimum volunteer work, and it just isn’t flexible.
