Access before orientation

How do I coordinate access inside to sign waver before class? I don’t see a way to message instructor for example.

You don’t mention which class so it’s a bit difficult to offer much help. I suspect it’s a Woodshop Safety and Orientation, but I don’t know which time.

Your best bet at this point is to show up 30-45 minutes early and ring the doorbell and hope. If no one answers you may be able to tailgate someone else into the lobby and sign a waiver at the kiosks along the wall.

There are usually fobs in the mailbox out front of the main door. If you collect a fob, you can enter the number on it in Maker Manager (my badges) and let yourself in. This assumes that you have already completed a waiver under the email address you used to register.

Make sure you enter all 10 digits, including the leading zeros.

Talk requires a certain level of activity on your part before you can direct message (DM) individuals.

Also, you don’t have access to member-only categories because Talk doesn’t recognize you as a member.

To get access you should use the member profiles system. Dallas Makerspace members (primary or family/add-on) in good standing may request access to Members Only categories (e.g. Issues & Requests) by following the instructions here:
