Whelp, the new workstations are almost ready. I’m still waiting on the details for some software licensing that @Team_3D_Fab still needs to procure. The network cables need a little tidying, and I still need to get the wall mount box for the switch.
All the printers and workstations are on individual drops from the switch (no more 3 daisy chained switches even though I had loaned the committee a personal 24 port unit several months back that was never installed). The cables can be tidied by almost any volunteer as long as they don’t unplug anything. Some velcro and a slit in the tile should do the trick nicely.
Thanks to @skyspook for helping with running the cables the other night; I finished up the cable pulls today after bringing in some more rj-45 plugs.
