3d resin suggestions

So I’m picking up a creality wash and cure station at Micro Center this weekend so I can finally start using my resin 3D printer.
I have zero experience using a resin 3D printer and the only knowledge I really have of it is several hours of YouTube videos on the subject.
So pretty decent theoretical knowledge but zero Hands-On, lol!

That being said, I’m kind of poking around for the actual resin to use.
Since I’m just getting started and don’t have any experience, I don’t want to put a whole bunch of money into resin so if anybody’s got any recommendations on resin that’s decent enough and not expensive that would be greatly appreciated.

Bonus points four links to Amazon deals, LOL!

Thanks!

It would help if you put some criteria, for example just doing miniatures for personal use, needing high strength for functional prints under load, need to be able to print food safe organizers, etc.

Like I said, I don’t have any experience so I’m just looking for something that’s pretty decent, economical that I can use to just practice with because I’m not making anything that’s going to be sold or used.
So I’m probably just starting out with miniatures, maybe a couple of small organizational boxes, etc.

I really have not delved all that far into this I’m just looking for something so that I get used to the feel, operation, ETC of the machine and how the resin works

Have heard good reviews on SUNLU Standard 3D Print Resin 1KG - SUNLU official online store – Affordable 3D Printing Filaments and Resins

I haven’t tried it yet but planning on it next time I order “play” resin.

Ok, thanks

It happens to be out of stock right now but I bought some Uniz zMud and have been very happy with it. It seems a little more viscous than the Elegoo resin (at least more viscous than the Elegoo white) and it printed difficult prints with much lower failure rate. Detail still looks good.

My printed parts have only sat around for a couple months but this also doesn’t seem to be as brittle as the Elegoo resin. Don’t expect it to be flexible however.

$15 for 1/2 L.

Hi!
You may want to give this a try:
https://www.amazon.com/Siraya-Tech-Washable-Printing-UV-Curing/dp/B084J71JL6/
It gets great reviews as an ideal beginner resin.
And if you want to try something greener, you can check out a Plant-Based resin. There are a many to choose from, just check the reviews.

Hope this helps! Be sure to send pics of whatever you get and print. I’m sure we’d all like to know how it turns out!
