24v AC in e-lab?

I am looking for a source of 24v AC < 1A in the lab. I dug around in the P/S adapter bin to no avail.

There was a 24vac transformer in one of the roll around cabinets.
If it’s not there, I can bring in a 24vac transformer this evening. ~5:30p

Took a quick look, didn’t see it but that doesn’t mean it’s not there! I’ve got to leave by 6 or so after this class but appreciate the offer. Will look for you before I leave as I was also wondering if we have any Triacs in stock.

We need an inventory robot

A new member, Ash found this in the E-lab  https://photos.app.goo.gl/6Tr4fSerB5vl0juF3

Careful! The output is HOT, not isolated.

That is correct and we talked about it.
The variac - also known as an autotransformer - has only a winding. One of the inputs is common with the output.
