2 post latch timing

I’m not sure this is an issue, but…

When I was lifting my van I noticed that the latches on the two sides clapped at slightly different times. I was careful to make sure that both engaged, but they enough different that it might be possible to engage one side and not the other.

I’ve not marked it out of service or posted in I&R

Every time I’ve used the 2-post lift there’s been a fraction of a second delay between clicks.

Very few lifts with cables have safeties that are perfectly synchronized or stay in synch.

It isn’t a safety issue.

If they didn’t click - THAT would be a problem.
