Hi all!
Mom and I have been very much enjoying using the space and learning the basics of ceramics. Y’all have created such an amazing space here! We appreciate all you’ve provided and created. It’s quite an amazing gift to have access.
We’re doing our best to understand the rules and processes. To that end, we had two
quick questions:
Is it acceptable at DMS to use wax resist when I’m glazing? Do I need to use my own cookie if I use wax? Or is there anything special I need to do before I put it on the shelf to be fired if I use it?
We noticed someone had pieces on the “glazed to be fired” shelf with notes in them that just said ‘Celadon’. Do we need to put similar notes when we use a Celadon glaze? Or is there some other reason to provide a note to the firing team?
Thanks for helping us understand the right way to do it!
