Just wanted to see if any turners out there had any time this week or weekend to give me some basics on the lathe, so that I’m able to use in the shop. I took a class years ago, but that’s all my turning experience. I’ve been cutting down some decently sized blanks for some medium/larger bowls. I could bring a handful of these and various sizes to turn and try different methods with. Think the wood is red oak w/ some spalting in it. Happy handover some additional stock/blanks as well for your time and instruction.
This week I’m open Mon-Wed after 6:30pm and anytime this weekend. Also not opposed to an early morning session.
