After 39 years doing graphic design in a K-12 school district PR office, I retired to devote more time to making. Although I seem to spend a lot of that time doing admin stuff for organizations I’m involved with. (need to learn how to use that word “no” more…)

I graduated from college in 1979 with a BFA in Art, but really hate painting. Which is what people assume you do when they hear “degree in art.” After graduation, I spent a lot of money and time seeking a creative outlet that caught my fancy that could be accomplished in my living room. In 1993, I discovered quilt making, and haven’t looked back. I’ve been active with the Quilter’s Guild of Dallas since the late 1990’s (the aforementioned admin stuff) I’m looking forward to exploring new directions for creativity!
