I am recently retired after a 40 year IT career. My interests are varied including electronics, automotive repair/modification, machine shop work, and welding. Electronics for me begain in Jr High when I met my Ham Radio Elmer and got licensed up to Extra Class before my interests shifted to motorcycles. In college I worked at an old school stereo/ham radio store in California and repaired higher-end stereos. This was back when equipment could be repaired more easily. But it taught me advanced diagnostic skills. Forty years of software work and now I have time to indulge in metal fabrication, robotics, and who knows what else. I’m interested in learning from other members and sharing my years of accumulated knowledge across a wide range of disciplines.
