I took up ceramics a year ago, and am finally starting to " get somewhere."
Thank you to all who have helped me at the DMS and your patience.
Ceramics has allowed me the freedom to create pieces that are purely from my hands. As cameras become more and more point and shoot tools without an understand basic principles of light. For me, it had moved away from purity of expression. I was being copied extensively for a technique I had created in 2013. which is such a compliment! But, I needed to find a new voice. Ceramics is well… a plastic expression.
