Live in Richardson. My day job is with Aruba Networks as a Consulting Systems Engineer for the Federal business unit. I specialize in secure wireless and cryptography specific to military and civilian government requirements. I am the subject matter expert on our classified networking business. This takes me out of town and out of the country quite frequently.
My wife, Amy, and I are newly empty nesters. Our two daughters are in college now. The oldest will be graduating from Oklahoma University after the Spring 2019 semester, majoring in Music Education. Our youngest is in her freshman year at Trinity University in San Antonio and is a pitcher on the softball team.
To deal with our newly found spare time, we bought an RV and joined the Dallas Makerspace. Lots of new things to learn!
Not sure how much of what I do professionally translates directly into the makerspace, but I am always up for lending an educated or not so educated opinion, YMMV. I love to be relevant, so expect me to find a way to give back to the space.
